Kohupātiki Marae Engages on Te Taiwhenua’s 5-Year Strategy
On September 10th, Te Taiwhenua o Te Whanganui ā Orotū continued sharing its 5-Year Strategic Plan, this time welcomed onto Kohupātiki Marae by Board member Api Robin.
CEO, Mat Mullany, and the Te Taiwhenua team presented the strategy to hapū members, opening the space for kōrero and reflection. A strong theme that emerged was the importance of supporting rangatahi into meaningful employment pathways. Te Taiwhenua Contracts Manager, Ingrid Matthews, highlighted He Poutama Rangatahi as one way the organisation is helping to provide skills-based training and opportunities for work.
The kōrero shared was insightful and encouraging, reminding us of the vital role whānau and hapū play in shaping a prosperous future for our young people. Te Taiwhenua is grateful to Api Robin, Kohupātiki Marae, and all who contributed their voices and aspirations to this kaupapa.
